2Excel Aviation joins MME 2023

2Excel Aviation – the innovative aerospace services business comprising Capability Development, Special Missions, Charter and Engineering – has become the latest company to confirm its commitment to Multi-Mission Expo 2023.

Founded in 2005 by two RAF fast jet pilots, 2Excel has grown from five people and four aircraft to over 400 people and a fleet of 30. Renowned for “doing difficult things well,” the employee-owned company’s activity is organised around two business lines: 2Excel Aviation and 2Excel Engineering.

The Special Missions side of 2Excel’s operation delivers a diverse range of contract air services around the world, providing specially designed solutions across a breadth of operations. Applications include aerial dispersant and surveillance options for the oil industry, providing training for military forward air controllers, a fixed-wing Search and Rescue (SAR) service for the UK Government, and border and fisheries patrol missions.

Special Missions applications are underpinned by 2Excel’s Capability Development teams, who – with “one of the broadest scopes of approval for design and certification in Europe” – have certified a “number of innovative approaches to create aircraft level instillations” such as spray systems and surveillance platforms.

2Excel looks forward to inviting visitors to learn more about its Special Missions capabilities at its stand inside Multi-Mission Expo.

Subject to operational availability, an example of their airborne sensor platforms – either the Beechcraft King Air or the Piper PA-31 Piper Navajo – may also be on display.
